Efficient Docking & Loading
The warehouse boasts a desirable cross-dock configuration designed to streamline loading and unloading operations. It includes dock levellers with a dock height of 1.48m above yard level, ensuring compatibility with various vehicle types. Covered dock access provides ease of material handling both inside and under cover outside, while 80 segmented warehouse doors are set back from the dock edge for optimal maneuverability. A dedicated battery charging station with a gantry crane simplifies battery exchange for material handling equipment.

Advanced Security Infrastructure
Security is uncompromised, featuring a solid high-impact concrete inner perimeter wall topped with electrical fencing and an alarm system integrated with CCTV. Strategically placed guard towers enhance visibility, while a vacuum area with two enclosed security gates, booms, and spikes secures the entrance. The site is monitored by 24-hour armed on-site security and CCTV surveillance, supported by off-site monitoring. Access control includes biometrics and facial recognition for maximum safety.
Reliable Power & Fire Protection
The facility offers a 1,000kVA council power supply backed by an 800kVA standby diesel generator, with solar PV integration currently in progress. Fire safety meets the highest standards, with a sprinkler system compliant with ASIB 11th edition Category 4 rules, including capacity for rack sprinklers, and an aspirating smoke-detection system installed throughout the warehouse.

Sustainability & Design Excellence
Achieving a 4-Star Green Star certification from the Green Building Council of South Africa in 2022, the site incorporates water-wise landscaping and energy-efficient systems. Spacious parking and yard areas accommodate vehicles from 3.5-ton box vans to curtain-sided superlinks, ensuring smooth logistics flow.

Flexible & Scalable Layout
The single-storey warehouse offers a clear height of 13m to the underside of any haunch/lattice truss, with 32m column spacing allowing easy subdivision and dedicated office or ablution areas. Numerous racking formats are possible, supporting both wide and narrow aisle configurations. The facility includes ground and first-floor offices, staff change rooms with showers, and a dedicated canteen. Flooring is FM2 special flat, ideal for high-precision operations.
