ERIS Property Group head office finds a new home at the MARC
"A strategic, holistic and green move"
In a strategic move, Eris Property Group relocates to the prestigious multi-use, multi-tenant 5-star Green Rated towers, The Marc on Maude and the corner of Rivonia. The iconic site was developed and completed by Eris in 2018 and sits at the helm of South Africa's most powerful business district in Sandown, Sandton.
The Group moved into the towers on December 1, 2020. This isn't just a strictly financial move but one that has been meticulously thought through and fits into the Group's core values and future direction. The move has seen the group downsizing their space with efficient planning based on the latest workplace principles and trends from 4600sqm to, a 2300sqm open plan environment, bringing together all divisions and consolidating all shared services.
The Marc's prime location comes with ultramodern onsite amenities, easy access to transportation - including the Gautrain, sufficient parking; and a safe environment for staff and clients. The compact open plan office space is located on the second floor of Tower 2; a deliberate move to boost and strengthen the Group's internal business culture which was tested when spread across three floors at their previous premises and necessitated an improvement in collaboration and cohesion amongst the business units.
"Not only will this move optimize the business, it will improve overall communication and productivity. Space consolidation will encourage much needed connectivity between team members and help boost team spirit. This move will refresh and strengthen the internal work and business culture and promote the core vision of the Group to be "the first choice property and services group through service excellence and innovation." says CEO, Barend de Loor.
This new premises will position the Group at the flagship towers as one that radiates professionalism and integrity, pioneer's excellence and innovation. This latest development builds on the Eris' internal improvements, including investment in technological advancements.
Eris has increasingly made strides in improving management of its property portfolios and as a result, implemented a state-of-the-art computerised system to improve workflow, collaboration and communication within the group and with its clients. This multi-faceted system not only tracks and assesses internal workflow, productivity and innovation amongst a plethora of other activities and processes but ensures that every department, person and action is held accountable and trackable. The new premises and consolidated space will assist in making full use of the computerized system's ability to hold real results for our portfolios and how we manage them.
CEO Barend de Loor places emphasis on the fact that, the move is part of a long-term plan for the future growth of the business and to implement new work strategies that increase communication and productivity." De Loor believes in investing in technology to achieve management goals and augment operational efficiency as property leaders.
"What this will also do is " lead to better service levels and provide real, measurable value for our clients" states De Loor.
The Marc's environmentally sustainable design and construction, not only showcases innovation but also takes into consideration the occupational wellbeing of staff to ensure ultimate productivity as well as economical sustainability.
The Group looks forward to customer visits at their 5-star green towers at 129 Rivonia Rd, Sandown, Sandton, to explore and experience the Eris Group culture of progressive, collaborative and timeless property innovation that incorporates occupational health, environmental compliance and economical sustainability managed by a superior state-of-the-art internal computerised software system that provides long-term value and maximizes operational efficiency.
